This beautiful sterling silver tea caddy spoon is from the 19th century, and from Germany. It has an ornate figural handle that depicts 2 sea serpents intertwined, and a small boy blowing a horn with 2 animals next to him. The serpents represent shipping and the ocean. The inside of the spoon has an embossed town with what appears to be a sheepherder.
A beautiful and rare sterling silver handled stainless steel bladed cake set, that was made in Thailand. It is marked sterling silver, and Thailand. The handles of both the cake server and the curved cutting knife depict the Bangkok Goddess of Thailand.
It is in the Potomac pattern design. SSMC- the Sterling Silver Manufacturing Company operated in Providence Rhode Island. It produced silver pieces, holloware (bowls, tea pots, creamers, coffe pots, etc.) and flatware (silverware) from 1909-1932.
This beautiful sterling silver large soup ladle weighs 234 grams. It meaures 12" long from tip to tip, and 4 1/8" wide at the soup base of the ladle. It has a monogram on the tip of the handle what appears to me to be a W.
